Carolina Herrera Linette Wedding Gown - Spring 2020 Collection.
My experience with this dress: I had to buy my wedding dress during lockdown so I wasn’t able to travel to buy my dress. I’m from Guatemala and we don’t have that many options around here, so I decided to buy it the “covid way”: in Zoom. I had different virtual appointments and saw like a thousand dresses, but I absolutely fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it, so I decided to buy it without even trying it on.
When I received the dress and tried it on I fell in love with it, and my family too. The way it shapes your waist and fits your body looks amazing. The store decided to send it bigger so I could do any adjustments needed here.
It has 7 layers of the most beautiful tulle. The appliquéd flowers have tiny pearls so they make the whole dress shine. I didn’t have to wear a bra and I felt really comfortable. The train is so long and beautiful and I got sooo many compliments on the dress.
I’m 5’5.7 tall and wore high heels, but the dress was still a bit long. So if you’re taller than me it’s ok and if you’re shorter you can trim in without altering any details of the dress.
You can use the sleeves on or off shoulder (I wore them both ways: on during the ceremony and off during most of the party).
I don’t offer returns because I don’t want the dress to suffer any damages from shipping in and out, but as I said earlier, I didn’t try it on either and completely fell in love with it.
