This dress was minimally altered off the rack, meaning I only had elastic waist straps sewn in (to cinch it in) and added molded cups put into the bust. Otherwise it's unaltered condition. I wore a separate petticoat underneath to give it a fuller affect and to help me walk easier. Trust me, that was the best decision and this was the most comfortable dress.
