I loved my dress so much and it would make me happy to see someone else get the same joy as it gave me! I wanted a classic elegant style with sophisticated drama, and I felt 100% satisfied and beautiful on my day. It is a smooth satin finish with tiered tulle layers and train. The dress tag lists it as "Ivory" however there is such a difference in what colors mean in the wedding world. This dress is definitely WHITE. I wanted a white dress- and originally the slight satin sheen of this one scared me, but once I put it on I found that the sheen only helps to make the dress seem really bright and white. The layers have about a 3 inch section of thicker tool (doubled up) at the end of each of them which is a beautiful, unique twist. It also has buttons that go all the way down the back and even down the train which was a feature I loved/got lots of compliments on. As you can see from the photos, I went for glamour waves in my hair which I felt completed the whole look. My sister actually made my veil for me (she got tulle at Joann Fabric and a comb off amazon that stayed in my hair SUPER well for really cheap). We cut it at an arch that went about 2-5 inches beyond the end of my train. If you have any sewing experience at all I suggest making your own for some savings. :) Because it was made by my sister, I am keeping the veil. However there is a comb I bought when I originally thought I may wear my hair up that is unused and included for free if you'd like it! The dress is a fit and flare that I had altered to hug my body, so I did have to pull the dress up to sit down. However, you couldn't tell when I was sitting (except for my husband who laughed with me about hiking it up haha) and it flattened out perfectly (easily) when I stood back up. It is strapless, which I know worries many people, but there is a separate full corest on the inside of the dress that can be fitted exactly to your body and requires no additional undergarments to be worn. I also ate all the food I wanted and still felt totally comfortable in my dress! The smooth look hid my full belly well if that's a concern of yours :). I added a very detailed bustle so that it laid perfectly and I could still enjoy dancing the night away. I did just step out of the whole wedding dress to pee- sorry if that's TMI but I know that was one of the questions I had thinking about my big day. My bridesmaids just zipped me back in afterwards and it was no big deal. I wore it for my whole wedding, and did not have it cleaned yet because I thought perhaps the buyer would have a preferred place they wanted to have this done. I however did not spill or get anything on it at all - a miracle for me haha! Please let me know if you have ANY questions/concerns. I want my dress to find a great new home so I am willing to negotiate on price/shipping/cleaning as needed! Thanks!
