Beautiful Contemporary Long Sleeve Mermaid Wedding Dress
I fell in love with my dress the second I put it on at Pronovias. It was chic, classy, and achieved the "old Hollywood glamour" aesthetic I was going for.
The piping and seams of the dress are EVERYTHING! Though it is simple, the small details make it look extremely glamorous and expensive. The long, dramatic train is exquisite. It was altered to fit like a glove and was extremely comfortable to wear on my wedding day. It does show everything so I was unable to wear a bra or panties with the dress, which was totally fine (and liberating).
After having it dry cleaned and preserved, there is still some minor dark "dirt" staining near the bottom 2 inches of the dress. It could be completely shortened by 3 or more inches for a shorter bride and even with the staining, still VERY wearable.Burton was and still is the dress of my dreams. If I were a bit more sentimental and didn't live in a small NYC apartment, I would certainly keep it. I hope that it can be recycled as the dress of another bride's dreams!
