Absolutely stunning iconic dress - classic but not dated. Only recently discontinued from the ongoing Signature collection (which costs £16215 made-to-measure) this is a rare find.
The style is described as Ivory with organza appliqués. The lining is in fact 'sky blue' with cream organza and pearl detailing, giving a very flattering subtle depth of colour to the dress. The label is a UK size 10 and currently fits UK 10 and is easily altered. When I bought this dress it came with a free fitting service which I had not yet booked. If you are based near London then you can take advantage of this free fitting service by a dedicated Oscar De la Renta seamstress.
I bought this dress before planning the wedding (it was my dream dress) and it is sadly much too formal for my wedding venue! A reluctant sale, but I am happy not to see it go to waste and I hope it will make someone feel as good as I did when I first tried it on!. It has a sweetheart neckline, scallop edge details and a concealed zip back fastening. The shape and the subtle colour from the lining make this dress incredibly flattering.
The dress has never been worn and only tried on by myself. I bought it off the peg after discontinuation in 2016, a very rare opportunity. Receipts with date of purchase available.
